PV is a technology that converts light into electricity. A PV is made of of several solar cells linked together to make up a PV module. The more modules, the more energy converted. The electricity is then used or stored in batteries for later use. An inverter is attached to convert the electric current. If the home is completely off grid a back up generator is recommended.
