Coconino County Parks & Recreation Commission Meeting

Coconino County Parks and Recreation (CCPR) announces the next meeting of the Parks and Recreation Commission on Thursday, October 2, 2008, 4:00 p.m., at the County Administration building, 219 E. Cherry, 1st floor meeting room, in Flagstaff.  The Commission will take action on the Raymond County Park design presented by Mike Conner, Construction Manager.

 

Work session (discussion items) will include ADOT Highway 89A realignment project and CCPR Master Plan development plan review.

 

Information on the County Fair financial report, Coconino County/ City of Flagstaff water well negotiation and Pumphouse Greenway-Wetland Reserve Program project elimination will also be available at the meeting.  Related documents pertaining to the CCPR Master Plan process may be downloaded from the CCPR website at www.coconino.az.gov/parks.aspx.

 

County residents, media practitioners and the public are invited to observe the meeting.

 

The Coconino County Parks and Recreation Commission (PRC) is the citizen body responsive to the communities and the people of Coconino County. The PRC advises CCPR staff and the Board of Supervisors (BOS) on fee and rule promulgation, policy development, legislative matters, budget development, land acquisition, park planning and design, and a myriad of other issues.  Each BOS member appoints two PRC members from his/her district.
