Vote Yes to protect our homes from a transfer tax which could get as high as 1% once local governments get ad to it. So this means if you sell your home, on top of closing costs and realtor commisions, the government take another 1% out. So if your home is worth $250,000, you pay another $2500 out of your proceeds. They say the will only start with .25%, but we all know how the works, before we blink our eyes its over 1%. The county & cities will also want a cut.
