Prop 100

Attention Arizonan's! Usually we do not stick our nose into politics. This time is different. Prop 100 wants to allow the government to impose a real estate transfer fee. They say it will only be .10%. But what happens when that goes up? Or when the county, city and federal government's want to get in? Say it gets up to 1% (like other states). If your home is worth $250,000, you pay $2500. This is on top of your property taxes. This bill is not only for selling the house rather the tranfer. If you put your property in a trust, then you pay. What about inheritance? Tax up front and when you sell? A transfer tax will also slow the market down if gets up to a percent

To make sure they don't do this and hurt home values vote YES on 100 on November 4, 2008.
